Had an opportunity to take a tour of Lorna Fandrich’s new Lytton Chinese History Museum. I was pleasantly surprised at the broad collection of artifacts she has accumulated from the 1860s Fraser River Gold Rush period and the Canadian Pacific Railway construction of the 1880s.
Lorna has had excellent support from collectors throughout BC.
I took the video below to show the main room. Although it doesn’t show the two smaller rooms with their display of photographs and artifacts it may give you a bit of a glimpse of what you will find when you visit the museum. It is located at 145 Main Street, Lytton. If you are coming into town from the south, it is one of the first buildings on the right when you get to the bottom of the hill.
This is my first effort to insert a video into a WordPress page.
Any suggestions for improvement will be appreciated.
